Dishwasher, Microwave, and Oven Safety

Our pottery is safe for use in the dishwasher, microwave, and oven with the following guidelines to keep in mind. Dishes in a dishwasher can bang around and chip and are subject large temperature changes. Over time pottery may be affected, so handwashing is preferred for the longevity of the piece. When baking in the oven, thermal shock can crack your pottery. To avoid this, start the piece in a cool, non-preheated oven. Once complete, place your hot dish on a trivet that insulates from a cold stone countertop. Avoid putting pottery under a broiler and never use over an open flame. 

Shipping and Return Policy

Orders are shipped out within 3-5 business days of purchase unless it's a dinnerware item. Dinnerware is made to order, so expect a 2-4 week timeframe. 

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs in the event you decide to return your pottery.

Should your pottery arrive broken, please email us at saltoftheearthnc@gmail.com with photos of the broken piece and the box as well. Claims received more than 7 days passed the delivery date may not be eligible for refund or replacement.
